12 Feb 2019
Firefighters have quickly controlled a fire which engulfed a home on Beaumont Court in Sydenham overnight.

Crews were called to attend the single storey brick home just after 3am, and had the fire under control just 12 minutes after their arrival to the scene.

Approximately 24 MFB firefighters wearing breathing apparatus at the scene were supported by CFA crews and Ambulance Victoria paramedics.

Thankfully, there are no reports of injuries.

Due to a large amount of smoke in the area, MFB issued a community advice message.

Victoria Police have been asked to attend the scene due to suspicious circumstances.
