09 Dec 2016
MFB firefighters were kept busy overnight following a suspicious house fire in Reservoir about 11.30pm.

Multiple triple zero (000) calls alerted crews to the incident after neighbours saw flames lapping the roof of the two storey house.
Witnesses also described hearing a possible explosion.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly entered the house to search for occupants.
Luckily, no one was inside at the time.
Crews got the blaze under control within half an hour but have spent the night making sure the property was safe.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and Victoria Police will investigate.
