Suspicious blaze destroys abandoned home in Braybrook

An arson investigation is underway after a fire in Braybrook overnight.

Firefighters were called to the abandoned home on Hancock Crescent at 9.15pm.

The home had been partially demolished and was totally ablaze when firefighters arrived on scene.

The fire also spread to a neighbouring house and a caravan.

The fire caused an estimated $250,000 damage.

Police will attend the scene today.
