Sunshine house fire

Crews were called to a single story weatherboard house in Union St at 13:34pm this afternoon.

Firefighters arrived to find the home fully engulfed by fire and requested additional resources as crews set up hose lines to protect adjacent houses.

The home's occupants had self-evacuated prior to MFB's arrival and no injuries were reported.

A community warning was issued for smoke in the area.

The blaze was brought under control in 25 minutes.

MFB Fire Investigators will attend to determine a cause.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also assisted on scene.
