MFB has attended a second suspicious factory fire at a Yarraville factory in a week.

Crews were called to the former Bradmill denim factory today at 3.58pm after multiple reports of smoke in the area.

On arrival firefighters found a pile of rubbish alight measuring ten by three metres.

The fire was quickly contained and the blaze deemed suspicious.

Earlier this week MFB was called to the same factory to attend a similar incident.

The fire occurred on Sunday 27 March just before 3am. In this instance the fire also involved a pile of rubbish, measuring five by five metres.

Victoria Police is investigating and MFB urges anyone with information about the two fires to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
