Pascoe Vale house badly damaged in fire

A single storey house in Pascoe Vale was severely damaged by fire in the early hours of the morning.

Fire crews arrived on the scene at 12.40am last night to find the brick dwelling fully involved in fire.  Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus brought the fire under control in approximately 20 minutes.  There was nobody in the house at the time of the fire and no reports of injuries.  Damage is estimated to be approximately $190,000.  The cause of the fire is being investigated.  A watching duty remained in place over night.
