About 2,000 'Notifier' Fire Alarm Control Panels have been recalled in the USA due to the possibility of software in the fire alarm system failing to process an alarm condition, which could result in the system failing to respond in the event of a fire.

The MFBs Building inspections and compliance department has been in contact with the Notifier distributer in Melbourne and has been assured that this recall applies only to panels within America.
