Multiple Triple Zero calls for smoke, flames and explosions issuing from Epping home

MFB and CFA crews responded to a house fire in Petra Court, Epping at 10:43am this morning following a number of Triple Zero (000) calls reporting smoke, flames and explosions issuing from the property.

On arrival crews found the single storey brick dwelling measuring 20 X 20 metres totally involved in fire.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus are conducting an internal primary search for possible occupants and are also working hard to protect the surrounding properties from the radiant heat.

The fire is yet to be declared under control.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria are also on scene assisting MFB.
