MFB crews have responded to a factory fire in Mt Waverley following multiple calls to triple-zero.

The first appliance on the scene upgraded the response to get more resources as the 20m x 40m unoccupied, single storey warehouse was fully involved and threatening a neighbouring property.

A Teleboom (ladder style aerial firefighting truck) was used to protect the neighbouring property while firefighters fought the fire from the outside.

A ladder platform was used to attack the fire from above.

It  took firefighters 39 minutes to bring the fire under control.

A cause is yet to be established.
