MFB tackles apartment blaze in Abbotsford

On scene in six minutes, fire quickly brought under control

Just before lunchtime today, MFB received a fire call to an apartment complex in Turner Street, Abbotsford.

Arriving on scene in six minutes, firefighters quickly gained entry and brought the fire under control in the first floor apartment, assisted by the activation of a sprinkler system.

The swift actions of firefighters and the sprinklers led to the fire being contained to one room of the apartment.

MFB will remain on scene for some time.
