MFB firefighters working to help free boys hand from vending machine in CBD

Delicate process with crews involved for some time

Just after midday today MFB firefighters received a call to attend a premises in Lonsdale Street to assist a young child who had trapped his hand in a vending machine.

His mother and father are on scene and the rescue is proving to be delicate, and is ongoing.

MFB is working alongside Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police, and it is hoped that he is freed shortly.
