MFB firefighters attend Mordialloc house fire

Police are investigating following the discovery of a body

Earlier this morning MFB received a fire call to a unit in White Street.

Arriving on scene in six minutes they found the two storey unit fully involved with fire through the roof, and worked to extinguish the blaze.

Seven appliances and over twenty five firefighters attended the incident and the fire was brought under control just before 1.20am.

Sadly, a male aged in his fifties has died in the blaze, and the scene has been handed over to Victoria Police.
