Police requested firefighters attendance at the school after a worker was injured when an internal ceiling collapsed.

The injured worker was taken to hospital by Ambulance Victoria.

MFB crews wearing breathing apparatus conducted a search to make sure the collapse had not broken any windows as there was asbestos present.

A hygenist also attended and took readings to determine if asbestos had leaked.

Firefighters also dampended down the area.
