Arriving on scene firefighters found the house fully involved

At 2am this morning MFB received a number of calls to a house fire in Carroll Street, Deer Park.

Arriving on scene MFB found the house fully involved from fire in the roof.

Due to the amount of smoke in the area a community advice was issued.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly attacked the fire which took 30 minutes to bring under control.

The cause will be investigated. 

25 firefighters and seven appliances tackled the blaze.
