MFB attends fire at Billboard nightclub

Swift actions of firefighters quickly brought incident under control

Just after 10.00pm this evening MFB  received calls to a fire at Billboard night club in Russell Street.

Arriving on scene in four minutes firefighters quickly tackled the fire, and brought it under control just before 10.30pm.

The cause of the incident will be investigated and MFB will remain on scene for the next few hours.

Over twenty five firefighters and eight appliances tackled the blaze.
