MFB crews responded to a fire at a home in Boldrewood Parade shortly after 9:00am this morning.

Approximately 25 firefighters battled a single-storey weatherboard home fully involved in fire.

The fire was quickly contained to the front of the house but the remainder of the premises has been significantly damaged by smoke and water.

The occupants safely evacuated prior to the firefighters arrival. Two of those occupants have been transported to hospital for observation.

Alternative accommodation is being arranged for the family.

The blaze was brought under control at 9:20am.

The cause of the fire is unknown and MFB Fire Investigators will remain on scene to determine the cause.
