Firefighters were called to a home in Kellerher St just before 7:30am this morning.

Crews en route could see a large plume of smoke issuing from the area, and requested more resources to be deployed.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find a three bedroom house well alight.

Crews in Breathing Apparatus used high pressure hoselines to bring the fire under control in nine minutes.

The fire had spread into the roof space of the house but crews were able to stop it spreading to the entire structure.

Firefighters conducted an internal search of the home to confirm it was unoccupied.

No injuries have been reported.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria assisted on scene.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but has been deemed suspicious.
