House fire in Kings Park

MFB were called to a report of a single story brick house fire in Kings Park late Sunday night.

The alert was raised by neighbours who called 000.
Firefighters were on scene within 6 minutes and had the fire under control within 20 minutes.  A search of the house revealed that there wasn’t anybody in the house at the time of the fire. 
Asbestos was present so extra precautions were required at the scene.  
MFB Fire Investigators attended in the morning to determine the cause of the fire. 
Approximately 20 firefighters attended the blaze.
