House fire in Doncaster

MFB crews were called to a fire at a home in Hillingdon Court shortly after 4:30pm this afternoon.

On arrival, firefighters found the house fully involved in fire.

The initial crews removed a woman from the house suffering from possible smoke inhalation and minor burns.

Firefighters in Breathing Apparatus conducted an aggressive internal attack on the fire, which had entered the upper storey of the two-storey house and the roof space.

The blaze was brought under control at 4:58pm. Crews will remain on scene for some time.

Police and ambulance crews were also in attendance.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.

The woman treated on scene was transported to hospital by ambulance.
