Home ablaze in Sunshine West

Approximately 30 firefighters were called to a house fire in Sunshine West just before 4pm on Saturday.

Initial crews arrived to the Drinkwater Crescent address within six minutes following number of Triple Zero (000) calls, and requested additional support.
Firefighters quickly contained the fire, bringing the incident under control within just nine minutes after they first arrived on scene.

Thankfully two occupants who were home at the time were not injured in the blaze.

At the height of the incident there were nine units on scene including six pumpers, a rescue, and an aerial appliance.
MFB was supported at the scene by Victoria Police.
