Firefighters attend Meadow Heights suspicious fire

Police will investigate further.

A Meadow Heights home has been extensively damaged following a suspicious fire this morning.

Firefighters were called to the home in Rokewood Crescent at 9.33am.

On arrival they found a single-storey, brick house alight.

After a thorough search of the house, utilizing breathing apparatus, all occupants were accounted.

The fire appears to be have been started in the rear bedrooms, which have been extensively damaged, with the fire extending into the roof space.

Fire Investigators attended the incident and have determined the cause of the fire is suspicious.

Police will investigate further.

Five appliances, included a CFA truck, attended the incident.
