Firefighters arrive at Glenroy house fire in under six minutes

MFB responded to a Karin Cr fire at 15:13pm this afternoon.

Crews arrived to find the two-storey residence fully involved.

Firefighters in Breathing Apparatus searched the house and found it unoccupied.

The blaze was under control in 30 minutes. The first floor and roof areas were significantly damaged, while the ground floor has sustained smoke and water damage.

The fire is believed to be suspicious.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria assisted on scene. A surveyor will attend to assess the building.
