Fire in abandoned Braybrook house overnight

Approximately 30 firefighters responded to a house fire in Braybrook early on Friday morning.

A caller to Triple Zero (000) reported the fire in an abandoned house in Riley Court just after midnight.

MFB crews arrived on scene in six minutes, to find the house well alight.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus attacked the fire, bringing it under control in 13 minutes.

The scene has been handed over to Victoria Police for further investigation.
