Concerns were raised for two occupants who were unaccounted for.  Whilst access to this large fire was difficult, MFB firefighters wearing breathing apparatus searched the premises to confirm that no-one was involved. There was a large fire load with a large amount of debris stored within the house. The fire took 50 minutes to bring under control.

MFB firefighters were able to stop the spread of fire entering another home at the rear of the property that was threatened.  The family was evacuated and will be relocated due to the toxicity of the smoke that has filled their home

Police are investigating.
