22 Dec 2016
A couple and their young child have had a lucky escape after a fire ripped through their Sunshine home this morning.

Crews arrived on scene at Moira Street about 4.30am to find the weatherboard house fully engulfed.
It took more than 20 firefighters about half an hour to bring the blaze under control.
The house was extensively damaged by fire, smoke and water and the family has been relocated.
The wall of a neighbouring home was also damaged but firefighters managed to stop the flames from spreading any further.
Firefighters remain on scene and are checking for hotspots to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.
MFB Fire Investigators will investigate the cause of the blaze.
