13 Apr 2018
MFB was called to a home in Griffin Court at 7:55pm this evening.

Crews arrived to find flames issuing from the windows and roof.

Firefighters in Breathing Apparatus conducted two separate searches of the home to ensure no-one was inside.

There were concerns that the house's floor, ceiling and roof would collapse due to the ferocity and extent of the fire.

The blaze was brought under control in approximately 45 minutes.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also assisted on scene.

A council representative will inspect the property's structural integrity tomorrow.

MFB crews will remain on scene overnight.
