A fire in a ducted heating unit appears to be the cause of a fire earlier this morning.  The fire quickly spread through the roof of the very large two story brick house.

The rest of the premise suffered water and smoke damage. The damage bill has been estimated at one hundred thousand dollars and the residents self evacuated after being woken by their smoke alarms and no injuries were recorded
