26 Nov 2019
MFB Specialist HAZMAT Technicians and a Scientific Advisor were called to a container leaking in a freight yard on Dynon Road just after 2:30am this morning.

Crews arrived on scene within seven minutes and initial investigations suspected that a chemical began leaking after the container was moved.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus and HAZMAT splash suits conducted thorough assessments and determined the leak was condensation.

The incident has been declared under control.

Ambulance Victoria were on scene to assist and fortunately no one was injured in the incident.
