When firefighters arrived on scene, the fire was already burning through the roof of the two storey building.

It was brought under control in fifteen minutes by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and there were no occupants home at the time.
The building consists of an Antique store and a retail Wine store at ground level and also a resident on the first floor where it is believed the fire started.
The blaze was contained to the first floor but the rest of the building has been affected by heat, smoke and water.
The cause has yet to be determined.
