Brunswick house fire

MFB firefighters are currently on scene in Bruswick following a house fire.

Crews were called to the address on Hodgson Street at 3.40pm, following numerous Triple Zero (000) calls reporting the blaze.

Firefighters arrived on scene in seven minutes to find the single storey weatherboard home ablaze with the flames threatening neighbouring properties.

Crews managed to get the blaze under control in less than an hour.

The cause of the incident will be investigated.
