18 Feb 2019
MFB firefighters have gained the upper hand of a fire which ripped through a cabinet makers business in Bentleigh East this evening.

Crews were called to the Alex Avenue factory at 830pm following a number of Triple Zero (000) calls.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire to the front section of the building and stop it from spreading to adjoining factories.

The fire was under control in about an hour and 15 minutes.

Fire Investigators will attend the scene tomorrow to investigate the cause of the incident.
