MFB Firefighters arrived on scene to find that fire had engulfed the first floor of the smallgoods manufacturing and storage company.

Various obstacles made access to the first floor, of the two storey brick building difficult for MFB Firefighters.  The fire took 30 minutes to bring under control.

The fire has extensively damaged the building and contents.  The Council Surveyor has been requested to check the structural integrity of the building.

Specialist MFB Fire Investigators will in the morning to investigate the cause of the fire which is currently undetermined.

MFB Firefighters will remain on scene throughout the evening to continue to extinguish and maintain a fire duty.
