Fire Ed for Special Ed
This program is designed for students attending special schools.
The program is based on Fire Ed for Preps, whereby firefighters visit classes to teach simple fire safety concepts and make a return visit to revise information with students and to reward students by a visit to the fire truck.
Presentation methods may differ according to students’ needs.
Additional materials using symbolic communication systems have been developed to assist students.
