The  MFB's  main objective is to reduce the incidence and impact of fire and other emergencies on the community.

This objective is achieved through the delivery of educational strategies that assist the community to become more self-reliant.

This section highlights the programs developed and delivered by the MFB to educate children about the danger of fire and the importance of safety, including:

  • Fire Ed for Preps
  • Fire Ed for Special Ed
  • Fire Ed for Upper Primary
  • Road Safety Education
  • FLAMES

Also in this section is 'MFB Kidzone' - an online interactive resource where children can learn valuable fire safety information in a fun and vibrant environment.
